Ducati has introduced the 2025 Multistrada V4 and V4 S in India, strengthening its flagship adventure-touring range. The new models arrive with refined styling, upgraded electronics, and a smarter engine system that improves both efficiency and performance. Here’s everything you need to know.
Powerful Engine with Better Efficiency
Both the Multistrada V4 and V4 S are powered by a 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine. It produces 170hp at 10,750rpm and 124Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. What makes this update special is the advanced cylinder deactivation system.
Earlier, the rear cylinders would only shut off when the bike was idling. Now, the system also deactivates them at low speeds. This reduces fuel consumption and emissions, giving the 2025 model up to 6% better efficiency compared to the previous version.
Advanced Features and Electronics
For 2025, Ducati has added the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system, borrowed from the Panigale V4. This high-tech system uses inputs from 70 different sensors to improve the accuracy of safety and performance aids like ABS, Ducati Wheelie Control (DWC), and Ducati Traction Control (DTC).
Riders also get five riding modes, including a newly introduced Wet mode for low-grip conditions. The Enduro mode has been recalibrated for more confidence on rough terrain. Other features include three levels of Engine Brake Control (EBC), a bi-directional quickshifter, cruise control, and Vehicle Hold Control (VHC) for easier starts on inclines.
Price in India
The 2025 Multistrada V4 range is priced higher than before. The base V4 starts at ₹22.98 lakh, while the V4 S is priced at ₹28.64 lakh (ex-showroom). This marks an increase of ₹1.50 lakh for the V4 and ₹1.91 lakh for the V4 S compared to the previous models.

With advanced electronics, multiple ride modes, and Ducati’s signature performance, these bikes continue to set benchmarks in the adventure-touring segment. Although the price has gone up, the added features and fuel savings make them a solid choice for riders who want premium performance and reliability on long journeys.
