Maruti Suzuki has stepped into a new league with the launch of the Victorious SUV 2025. This model has been designed to compete directly with popular mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta. The company recently showcased it and has now rolled it out in India. What makes it special is the inclusion of Level-2 ADAS, a first for any Maruti car. The SUV will not only be sold in India but also exported to several other countries straight from local production plants.

Engine Options and Hybrid Technology

The Victorious offers three different powertrain options. Buyers can choose a 1.5-litre petrol engine, available with either a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox. For those looking for better traction, some petrol variants also come with a four-wheel-drive setup.

A CNG version is also on offer, running on the same petrol engine but without the automatic gearbox. The standout here is that Maruti has fitted the CNG tank under the floor, which means the boot space remains as roomy as the petrol model.

Then there is the strong hybrid option, which borrows its technology from the Grand Vitara. This version uses a locally assembled lithium-ion battery and offers a balance of performance and efficiency. In terms of power, the petrol model produces 101 bhp, the CNG delivers 87 bhp, and the hybrid makes 91 bhp.

Sporty and Modern Exterior Design

On the outside, the SUV looks bold and athletic. The front gets a vertical bonnet and sharp LED headlamps connected by a chrome strip. From the side, the dual-tone 17-inch alloy wheels add to its presence. Customers can pick from ten colour options, including two new shades called Eternal Blue and Mystic Green.

At the back, the design feels premium with full-width LED tail lamps. The gesture-controlled powered tailgate adds convenience, while the tail light’s 3D effect gives the SUV a modern identity.

Premium Cabin and Features

Step inside and the Victorious feels upmarket. It comes in two trim levels, both offering a layered dashboard design with ambient lighting in 64 colours. The driver gets a 10.25-inch digital display, while the central touchscreen supports Alexa, more than 35 preloaded apps, and over-the-air updates. The SUV also connects through Suzuki Connect, unlocking over 60 smart features.

Comfort has also been given importance. The SUV is fitted with a dual-pane sunroof, a PM 2.5 air filter, an Infinity sound system with Dolby Atmos, and a driver’s seat that is both ventilated and power-adjustable in eight ways.

Safety with 5-Star Ratings

Safety is a strong point of the Victorious. The SUV has earned five stars in both Bharat NCAP and Global NCAP crash tests. Standard equipment includes six airbags, electronic stability control, and seatbelt reminders.

To make driving easier and safer, Maruti has also added a heads-up display, a 360-degree camera, and Level-2 ADAS features. These ADAS systems have been tuned for Indian road conditions, making them more useful in everyday traffic.

Price and Variants in India

Maruti has launched the Victorious in a wide range of trims and prices to suit different buyers. The petrol models start at ₹10.50 lakh and go up to ₹17.77 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG lineup is priced between ₹11.50 lakh and ₹14.57 lakh. The strong hybrid range begins at ₹16.38 lakh and tops out at ₹19.99 lakh. For those who want the four-wheel-drive option, prices range from ₹18.64 lakh to ₹19.22 lakh.

Add to that the hybrid efficiency, practical CNG setup, and competitive pricing, and the Victorious stands out as a strong contender in the mid-size SUV market.
